The little chats we've had about grad school apply here too--regardless of what happens, you get to deal with it. So I guess the key is choosing how you deal. How do you choose to deal with the fact (yes, it is a fact, and a pretty unchangeable one, at that) that you're stuck in Japan for another 7ish months? I just don't want you to be miserable, if there's any possible way for you to get out of it. You know I love you=) PS I dunno if you ever got turned on to Post Secret...but one of this week's secrets made me think of you and smile. So check the link: http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ (Obviously, it's the one about China. I hope it makes you smile!)
Dude, this post was kind of a joke. Yes, I'm homesick, but thats just part of living abroad. I am a contracted employee. I'm not going to break my contract with them, give up and come home because I'm in a rough patch. Besides, Big Bird's song is absolutely hilarious.
Name: Ruthie Home: Japan About Me: I want to know who God is and what his truth is. I love getting lost in beautiful music and cloudless star-filled skies, especially in the fall. I hate being bored. I like big cities. I want to travel the world. read more
Then either come back home or decide to enjoy your last few months there. But don't just stay there and feel bad, life's too short.
