I can relate to having a list of things I miss. And sometimes it feels sooooo far away and long ago, and othertimes so close. Of course Japan really is sooooo far away!!

Do you think you'll ever go back?

A mom really would like to keep her children from the kind of aches she experienced but it's not to be! Leaving a place and people you love is like ripping a lung out.
You left out kawara-soba, dear. And cool malls.
I love you, dear White Rabbit.
If you want to speak Nihongo, call Motoko-chan. She would be thrilled!

    You're right! How could I forget KAWARA-SOBA?!

And to Shayna: yes, I hope to go back someday, though I have no idea when that will be...
